Lonely 93-Year-Old Stops At McDonald’s Everyday After Death of His Wife- This Heartwarming Surprise Leaves Him In Tears

After the tragic death of his wife, one senior citizen gets a ‘happy meal’ ending from McDonald’s employees.

Harry Scott was devastated at the loss of his beloved wife. After her passing, Scott attempted to ease the loneliness by making new friends…at the local McDonald’s.

Nearly every day for the past two years, the 93-year-old has stopped in to the local fast food chain. After a friendly ‘hello,’ Harry Scott orders his favorite item on the restaurant’s menu: a happy meal. The widower sits quietly by himself, eating his lunch in peace.

The old soul quickly became a favorite regular to the young and energetic McDonald’s employees. Eventually, they started to reserve “his” table during lunchtime.

“He’s a one-off. We get regular customers but he’s one that stands out. He’s bubbly and full of life,” McDonald’s employee, Jack Holliday explained.

When the staff heard it was Scott’s 93rd birthday, they planned a heartwarming surprise party, complete with balloons, banners, and shortbread (his favorite treat). The senior citizen was instantly overcome with emotion at the celebration thrown in his honor. With tears streaming down his face, Scott thanked the kindhearted employees for their thoughtful gesture.

“The kids who come in here are mine as I don’t have any of my own. It’s company for me. When they threw the surprise party I had to wipe my eyes,” the 93-year-old said.

What did the McDonald’s employees gift Scott for his birthday? Free happy meals, six days a week.
