Boy’s Lost Stuffed Tiger Is Returned After Airport Employees Thoughtfully Document His Travels

6-year-old Owen Lake was devastated after losing his stuffed Tiger, Hobbes, his favorite toy. Luckily, the Tampa, Florida airport staff showed the animal a good time.

Already aboard a flight to Houston, Texas the Lake family realized a certain relative wasn’t with them. Hobbes, named after the comic, “Calvin and Hobbes,” held a special place in the 6-year-old’s heart. The striped tiger happened to be hand stitched by his beloved grandmother and was one of a kind.

Airport Operations Manager Tony D’Aiuto took it upon himself to entertain the lost toy and create a complete photo album for Owen documenting Hobbes’ adventures. The pictures don’t disappoint, to say the least.
